The Pre-Algebra course is to serve as a bridge between elementary mathematics and Algebra. This course will build a foundation of algebraic concepts through the use of technology, manipulatives, problem solving, and cooperative learning.
This course introduces the foundations of analysis designed to precede the calculus sequence with emphasis on functions and graphs. Topics include properties of absolute value, polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic and trigonometric functions, techniques for solving equations and inequalities, and an introduction to the concept of limits and the difference quotient.
This course is designed to emphasize the study of multiple representations of linear and non-linear functions. Students will use hands-on materials and calculators when needed in solving problems where the algebra concepts are applied.
Calculus math curriculum is a study of integration and differentiation with limits and continuity. The course states the importance of mathematics.
Reading, Speaking, Listening
This course provides instruction for and assesses students' reading, writing, speaking and listening and provides a continuation of study of the cultures and cultural practices of the French-speaking world.
